Direct representation
In its capacity of customs forwarding agent OTX Logistics BV makes the import and export declarations on behalf of you as our client. The client is then formally the person who submits the declaration and is also fiscally liable.
OTX Logistics BV is an administrative service provider. It is responsible for its actions as customs forwarding agent/agent under the Dutch Forwarding terms, but without being fiscally liable.
This is why we apply the policy that all clients must submit an authorisation for direct representation. This authorisation only has to be submitted once and refers to all import and export declarations (see article 5.1 of the agreement for acting as direct representative in the appendix).
You can authorise us as Direct Representative by downloading the agreement here, filling it in and returning it to us, signed by a legal person as referred to in the excerpt of the Chamber of Commerce, together with a recent except of the Chamber of Commerce.
